LIMITS ON TRAVELLING 2 PERU SERVICES’S RESPONSIBILITIES
We are not liable for acts like: fire, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, terrorist acts, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, dangerous incidents at sea, land, and air travel, bad weather condition or problems in the operation of the transportation companies, AND OTHER SIMILAR ACTS OR INCIDENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
Travelling in Peru requires flexibility, patience, an open mind, a good sense of humor and an understanding of the changes that may take place without previous notice.
Travelling 2 Peru Services is not responsible for any kind of sickness, maternity, physical or mental impediments, which may put into risk the health or integrity of our clients or third parties during any tour. We will not assume any claim or reimbursement due to the above mentioned reasons.
We don’t provide travel insurance, we highly recommend purchasing one, to cover flight cancelations/delays, and any other situation that might make you cancel or change the services you have has purchased trough us.
Reservations
In order to confirm the reservation we need to receive the %50, of the total package, in case there is included air fare we need %100 of the total cost of them. The %50 valance has to be sent 48 calendar days (Monday to Sunday) before the arrival. If not we reserve the right to cancel the reservations always with a previous email notice.
All reservations will be confirmed under the availability of hotels, transportation companies, and suppliers. We will inform you with a confirmation email.
The itineraries are worked very carefully with the client assistance but, for operations reasons, it could be necessary to change the order of the activities, due to force major problems, such as natural disasters; social problems, such as strikes, Operation Department will make these changes, together with the clients and suppliers.
Very Important
Travelling 2 Peru Services will everything to asure you receive what we offered in the beginning, but we reserve the right to change modify or cancel a tour due to any situation beyond of our control.
Itineraries
Before you purchase any of our services, you will be sent a previous itinerary, all hotels, transportations, flights and any other service will be confirmed on final confirmation (email),
We strongly recommend you to print the itinerary and take it to your tour.

Travel documentation
The passengers are responsible for having their identification handy (passports), at the moment of receiving a service.
Peruvian laws will exonerate tourist from IGV (18% tax) payment in hotels just showing the passport and the immigration card (Tam), you will receive the immigration card at tour arrival to Peru. (No valid when stay in the country has being longer than 60 days).
You are responsible for all visas, permits, necessary health requirements, and any other documents as required by laws. All clients travelling to Peru requires a Passport, valid for 6 months beyond the conclusion of their trip, and with appropriate visas according Peruvian policies.
Extra charges
Taxes for airport and general tourist services can have changes that cause modifications in the package price, when the modifications cause an increase of more than 10% in the package price, the client can cancel the contract without penalty if he inform by email Travelling 2 Peru Services, during the 48 hours after receiving the modification inform. If not we will consider the client accepts the information.
Air fares
Prices are subject to availability and tariff change, until the day of booking, client will be informed about that change. The schedule and flight numbers are also subject to change by the airline until the departure date. The air reservation is emitted immediately so it is not refundable.
Substitution of the traveler
If someone cannot complete the itinerary due to personal reasons, can be replaced by other person with a previous notification of 15 labor days prior to the date of travel, this regulation will be only possible for lodgings and tours, but not for “Inca trail”, air and bus tickets, which only can be used by the original client, on the contrary, the new client must pay the expenses of any penalty occurred by the change in the name or would have to pay all the service again.
High Season Period
Between April 01h and July 30th, Travelling 2 Peru Services reserves the right to change the cancellation policies (without a previous notice), in function with the special restrictions and penalties of the Hotels and suppliers.
Inca Trail
The policy of cancellation of “Inca Trail” is the strictest of Travelling 2 Peru Services travel contract, it is subject to the INC “National Institute of Culture” and the operators, who have the authority and control of the Inca Trail.
Change of date, change of passports, and substitution of passengers, cancellations due to personal reasons, and any other kind of modifications, will not be accepted until the date acceptance and the payment. The company will not do any reimbursement for the above mentioned reasons.
Cancellations of tours and hotels.
The cancelation request has to be sent written to Reservas@travelling2peru.com including all the relevant information. Take note that the package is subject to hotels and supplier’s cancellation polices, so for this reason the deadline above will depend of the final response from our hotels and suppliers in general.
In case 1 client decide to cancel the trip for any reason with a very few days prior the arrival and not exist the traveler substitute Travelling To Peru Services will charge the total price of the package in order to cover all the expenses of the arrangements.
Cancellation Package (individual passengers)
Within the 30 labor days (Monday to Friday) prior the arrival, 50% deposit the travel must be totally reimbursed, less %20 of administrative charges.
Within the 29 and 16 labor days (Monday to Friday) prior the arrival, we will reserve the right to keep the half of the deposit, less %20 for administrative charges.
There will not be any reimbursement within the 15 labor days prior to the arrival.
Cancellations Package (GROUPS)
Within the 60 labor days prior to arrival (Monday to Friday) prior the arrival- the deposit of the travel must be totally reimbursed, less %20 for administrative charges.
Within the 59 labor days to the 45 days (Monday to Friday) prior the arrival, we will reserve the right to retain half of the deposit less %20 for administrative charges.
We will be unable to make any reimbursement from 44 working days, or less, days prior to arrival.
The tourist transportation, such as train or bus will be subject to the policy of their suppliers. Also, there will not be any kind of reimbursement if the travel is cancelled due to the lack or irregularities in the personal documents of the traveler, which could be: identity cards, passports, vaccinations, etc.
Cancellations Recess of Hotels reservations
The cancellation of the hotels reservations can only be made via email to "reservas@travelling2peru.com". including all the relevant information.
The following scale of charge will be applied depending on the season when the notification of cancellation is received.
Within the 15 labor days or more (Monday to Friday) prior to the check in date: %20 administration charge will apply.
Within the 14 days to 9 labor days (Monday to Friday) prior to the check in date: 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
Within 8 days or less (Monday to Friday) prior to the check in date cannot be refunded.
In case of NO-SHOW, the passenger need to pay the 19% of IGV of the first night according peruvian regulations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Some deluxe hotels have a different cancellation policy so the client has to send the formal cancellation and wait for the appropriate response.
If the client request to cancel the reservation before Travelling 2 Peru Services has started doing the reservations, the total of the deposit will be reimbursed less %20.
The Reimbursement
The request of the reimbursement has to be required by email to our Reservations department, with all the relevant information, this process takes 15 and 20 labor days .It depends of the case. If the reimbursement is done trough credit card, the client has to chek with the bank after we have done the reimbursement.
